Important Announcement:

GOOD NEWS on the OGL front. As of 27 January 2023, it looks like Hasbro/WOTC has completely backed down. The OGL looks to remain in effect and future D&D SRD will be under a Creative Commons license. Personally, I suggest everyone who can move away from the OGL as corporations (IMHO, naturally) are some of the least trustworthy entities on the planet when it comes to actually keeping their word, especially long term.

Microlite81 Tablet Digest Edition

This is the Microlite81 download library. These rules are based on the Basic/Expert (B/X) edition of the world's most popular fantasy RPG, but use Microlite20-based systems. Published in 1981 this edition was very popular as it was published during the early 1980s "fad" period.

Microlite81 Tablet Digest Edition

This edition of Microlite81 is designed to be easy to read and use on tablets. Pages are digest-sized, the text is in a single column with a relatively large font (10pt Verdana). There is nothing new in this edition: material has simply been reformatted for tablet use.

This is a tablet-digest-sized version of the "standard" version of Microlite81, a version of B/X based on the Microlite20 system. This standard version of Microlite81 includes the rules and brief descriptions of spells, monsters, and treasure. Everything one needs to play except dice and paper.
